Donde esta el bano?

A sampling of pictures from out trip to Mexico! Thank you Pop Pop and Grammy for an amazing trip!!

The babies loved spending time with their cousins Eva and Mia
Auntie Sarah
Sweet Kelsey--it was so much fun getting to hang out with her! She is so sweet with all of the kids and is such a great girl!!  Matt is a lucky guy!  We love you Kels!

Really cool entrance to an underground river that runs all throughout the resort.  Jeremy hopped the fence and got down by it.  There were water and fish.

We could not have done this trip with out BOB!!  (thank you again Dianna for giving us the most amazing stroller ever made!)
Sweet boy sleeping on the way to the airport in a sketchy Mexican carseat!

James, Elliana, and Mia all got Hand Food and Mouth virus while we were there.  They had high fevers, and rashes.  James got a full body rash with red spots and then blisters on his hands, feet, face, legs, and what not.  Ellie got it bad on her legs, hands, and feet.  She also had it in her nose and mouth.  It was a bummer but they were little troopers.

We had fun on the boat rides to dinner and around the resort.  We sure do love those Fraceschini's!!  It was so great to spend time together!! Wish it could have been more!

Spa day for Kelsey's 21st bday!!

The babies loved the sand and playing with their cousins.

Can I just say I love being a total nerd with my sisters!! We had so much fun dancing on the beach! There was a DJ playing music up the way with crazy lights and we had a mini dance party!  We are such goof balls but I just love it.  Love you sisters!!

These floats were awesome.  They kept the babies shaded and they LOVED the water!! It was a lot of fun!

Tequila...need I say more?

We love our Grammy and Pop Pop!! Thank you for this trip and such amazing memories!!

Jeremy--I don't know if you will even read this but I just have to say you are a complete rock star with our kids.  You are an amazing teammate and I am so glad that I have you to carry BOB up three flights of stairs, sit next to on airplanes with screaming babies, walk James up and down the halls right as our dinner comes because he is bored, and do this crazy thing called parenting with.  You give 100% all the time and never complain and I love you.  You are my rock when I am melting down and I am so thankful for you.  Now lets never do this again until our kids are adults :)  (just kidding)

Little Gecko visiting BOB while Ellie was taking a nap.

I got over 20 mosquito bites, Shanna got salmonela/ecoli, other people got sick as well, the babies and Mia got that nasty virus and we learned that vacationing with twins is not anything like vacation.  It was also James and Elliana's first time on a plane, in the ocean, in a pool, in Mexico.  Despite all of that--it was a beautiful resort, we got to spend a lot of time with our wonderful family and I will cherish the memories we made!!  Thank you again to all of our family for jumping in and helping us when we needed it.  We love you bunches!!

The adventures of a twin mama....

So j and e have a terrible diaper rash we have been trying to get rid of for awhile now. We have been to the doctor multiple times they have had every kind of cream and antibiotic you could think of, baking soda baths, no wipes. We have made slurries of different pastes and concoctions and slathered them up. But to no avail. It keeps getting better then coming back. When it gets bad the doc says to let them hang out with their diapers off for a few minutes at each diaper change. Which wouldn't be a problem except that they are at the "Rollie pollie, scooting, everything in the mouth, toy snatching, 2.5 second attention span and onto the next shiny thing"phase.
So I put out a huge and very absorbent old blanket on the floor put a bunch of toys out for them wrestled them out of their pj's and diapers and let them hang out in all their glory.
This is my third day home by myself with them because Jeremy has been working extra shifts (72 hours instead of the normal 48) so I can barely keep my eyes open. I leave them on the rug and go into the kitchen, which is about 2 ft away, for 30 seconds to go make myself some tea and attempt to peal my eyes open and start the day.
I come back to find poop. Lots and lots of stinky baby poop. And not just normal stinky but really really stinky from all the hypoallergenic formula and whatever else I have been feeding them. And it wasn't just a neat little pile, no. He had pooped and then rolled in it. I went to move him out of it and clean him up and the first thing he does is lunge for a big handful of it and where do you think he was gonna put it? Ahhhhh no! Simultaneously the dog has come over and started to sniff the sinky pile and e is on her way rolling right to it. So what is a twin mama to do? Use every resource necessary to overt disaster. Grab james' hand and don't let him eat it, block Ellie's rolling with your foot and the dog with the other all while getting a wet cloth to clean the mess. Oh and did I mention he found the one space the blanket didn't cover so it is now ground into the carpet. Anyone have a number for a good carpet cleaner?
Just another 5 minutes in my life, I certainly wouldn't trade it but what a mess!

Garden

Well I am a total nerd and I love love love to garden. I guess I got it from my granddaddy, grandmommy, dad, mom , and auntie gaylynn. There hasn't been a lot of time this year but Jeremy and I managed to expand our veggie garden to twice its size and we got everything planted. Here is the first picture. It doesn't look like much now but we are super hopeful that it will be awesome this year!! We planted tomatoes, potatoes, onions, all kinds of peppers, green beans, peas, carrots, zucchini, butternut squash, watermelon, and cucumbers. It will be totally organic and awesome!!! We will be making baby food like crazy!! Our raspberries are back and doing awesome already! We also have a ton of different herbs in pots. I will keep you posted as things start to grow!! We had two great garden helpers too! And my peonies are blooming. They are my absolute fav!
