Merry and Bright

Here are a few quick pics from our holidays with our family.  We have so much to be thankful for!   

 James and Ellie were fascinated with Grammy and Pop Pop's Christmas tree and ornaments.  Thank goodness they were plastic!  We put up a tiny tree that they couldn't reach, so when they saw the live tree at Grammy's house they were so interested!  At one point James even pulled off a little branch and handed it to someone sitting nearby! 

 We got to celebrate Jeremy's bday together this year.

 Ellie with her new boots and animal sounds book.  It was so fun to see them more interested in presents this year. 

 An inevitable meltdown and time for a nap.  But the lawn mower and tea cart/set have been a hit!

 We were going to spend Christmas Eve in Cripple Creek with Jeremy at the fire station but I came down with that lovely stomach virus for the second time!  Grammy, Pop Pop, and Sarah saved me and helped out a ton with the kids!!

I didn't get pictures of every thing or everyone but we really enjoyed getting to see a lot of our friends and family.  However, we were thinking of all the ones who are out of town or not with us this holiday.  We love you bunches!!

Tis the season

A few pictures from family Christmas party! It's always fun to get together but this year we spent most of the night chasing the babies! James had fallen earlier in the day and did a face plant into the concrete so he has a good goose egg! Ouch! They loved the trampoline and all their family and of course Grammy and pop pop and auntie Sarah!

Thanksgiving week was so fun.  Shanna and family showed up as a surprise and we got to spend a lot of good time with all of them.  Matt and Kelsey came to visit for a few days and Sarah was home!!  Nothing better than having all my siblings in town!  The only down side was we all got that terrible stomach bug and didn't feel super swell.

 We go to spend the afternoon at the north pole with Dianna and Stephany.  It was chilly but so fun!

 Mom and I took the kids to the Darling Doubles twins party and we had a lot of fun eating snacks, playing with friend and running around.  Love my twins group!  The kids wouldn't even sit on santa's lap at this party.  Oh well maybe next year.
