Birthday continued

Birthday Morning...opening presents from GG, eating blueberry pancakes and bacon, and playing with new toys!

We love our bears and new clothes from GG!

 Daddy makes the best pancakes!
In the evening we went to Red Robin for dinner and had our first ice cream sunday!  We LOVED it!  When we came home we opened our presents from Grandma Tutu in Hawaii.

The babies loved looking in the boxes and pulling out all the tissue paper!

They love their new puppets, books, clothes and toys!  Thank you Grandma Tutu!!

I forgot to add pictures of them eating cake so here are a few...the video is really cute! James stuck his face in it!

Here is a video of James walking :)

First Birthday...

September 18, 2012 James and Ellie's first birthday.  We had a little get together this weekend with my family and a few friends and neighbors. We get to celebrate more with some of Jeremy's family later this month.
Birthday girl on her new car from Uncle Matty and Kesley.
Birthday boy on his fire truck from Uncle Matty and Kesley.
 Grammy with her grandbabies.

James kept pulling on Ellie's skirt, it was just so poofy!

James walked right up to the huge present and tried to push it over.
 Grammy and Pop Pop
Here is what was in the box--a red wagon!  Viv climbed in too and they all had a lot of fun playing in it before it was put together.
Their new ball pit--they were not quite sure about it at first but now they dive right in!

James and Ellie have become super picky eaters lately which has made meal times a challenge.  They sleep great as long as they aren't sick, or teething, or the garage door is opening, or the dog is barking....James started walking at 11 1/2 months old and Ellie took a few steps a few days later.  James is a total adventurer, he charges head first into everything (and has the bruises to prove it).  Ellie is very observant and more cautious.  They love to play hide and seek and hide behind the chairs in our family room.  They LOVE to push buttons on books, toys, TV remotes, and phones.  They have gotten really interested in other kids, Ellie will wave to kids who wave at her at the park.  They still love the swings when we go to the park.  I am curious to see how much they've grown at their upcoming appointment because Ellie is already outgrowing her 12 month clothes! James has put on some more weight too.  :)
We love their laughs, smiles, and playful personalities.  We are soooooooo thankful for our sweet babies.  Each day is an adventure.  Working half time has been such a blessing--getting more time with them everyday.  We can't wait to see what is coming next.
