October Happenings

We have been busy in October! Here are a few pictures from what we have been up to lately.  The biggest highlight of the month was having Auntie Sarah in town for the last weekend of the month!!
Pop Pop's Pumpkin Waffles with carmelized walnuts and whipped cream...yes I gained 10 lbs this weekend!
Sarah got her BRACES OFF!!!! YEAH HOORAY!!
She got to eat all sorts of stuff she hadn't been able to have like caramel apples and sushi.
 We love Auntie Sarah!

Kissing Pop Pop's homegrown pumpkins because they are so cute and little

 Leaves leaves and more leaves!

 Using the big rake

Going to the circus at the Pepsi Center with Grammy and Pop Pop, Mom and Dad. It was SO cool!
Eating snow cones that turned our mouths blue and we passed out on the car ride home!

Big bear hugs before bedtime.  We love our bears from Uncle Matt and Kelsey
 A trip to Anderson Farms

Tractor rides, animals, pumpkins, and more

 Getting so big!
 Riding a random cow

 Sittin on the corn
 Playing on the train

Our little pumpkin girl and James climbing on everything

James pulling the wagon with Daddy,  Ellie riding in the wagon and playing with the tires
Our twins group has a Halloween party each year.  James was so proud of himself in his fireman costume!

 Sweet Ellie was Princess Rapunzel

We have been riding our cars in the neighborhood a bunch!
Feeding the ducks at the lake after church
 Enjoying the gorgeous weather

Carving pumpkins with Daddy while Mommy cooks awesome pumpkin, sausage, and wild mushroom pasta

Ready to brave the cold and go trick or treating in our cul-de-sac
We got to walk around with our awesome neighbors Peter, Meghan, Ben and Tyler.  It was so fun for the kids to walk up to the door together and say "trick or treat."  Peter dressed up in a fill batman costume which was just AWESOME! I told Jer he should have gone as the Hulk like he did years ago!!But it was too cold for full body painting I guess. Maybe next year ;)

We also got to go to the Wildlife Sanctuary with our other friends Allison, Dustin, Shaylee and Kinley.  It was SUPER windy but so cool to get to see all the exhibits!

We have spent a lot of time playing in the yard, winterizing and harvesting our garden and making lots of compost.

Lots more to update for November!  Can't wait to get together with friends and family for the holidays this year!! Lots of good friends are expecting little ones in the coming months.  It will be so fun to see their families grow and get to meet new friends!
